To Bring Star Wars awesomeness to the foyer of Event Cinemas in the Myer Centre.

Details:

After a quick meal downstairs, the assembled troopers made the harrowing journey through the single functioning turbolift, having eventually managed to fit into an elevator going down to the carpark, and repeating this difficult task to make their way back up to the top of the building (a feat worthy of song and story), the changeroom was staked out and a location chosen for photographs - the troopers made their way to the changeroom for various shenannigans and kitting up.

We trooped the foyer for photos with the crowds of Star Wars fans waiting for the various sessions of The Last Jedi, it wasn't a huge crush like some troops, but we had steady business.  The cinema manager made a $50 donation after we made a special appearance in a special screening of TLJ (our armoured troopers deserve a pat on the back for the amount of stairs they survived).

During a quiet moment we made our way down 1 level to say hi to Astro Pete.

After a break and more shenanigans, we trooped until the special session ended (which once again I cannot thank the Armoured troopers enough for), before packing up and scattering to the four winds!

Injuries/Malfunctions: 
Darth Vader lost a cape retention magnet from his chest armour pre-troop, but persevered!

Public Incidents: Nil.

Mission Status: A Resounding Success!

Future troopers at the Myer Centre be aware, the $5 Validated parking (for cinema patrons) down in the Myer Centre car park now has a Cut off time from 4pm - park before 4pm and parking is $18 validated.

Guess what time those of us who parked downstairs arrived before...

Shenanigans? No way! We were consummate professionals the whole time.
