Just moved into the dark side - Darth Aphrodite - Sunday 17-Apr-2016
Hey there!
I'm new to the dark side block. I can't wait to get involved with all the awesome stuff that you do. You guys are great!
The big question is, "what character will I be?".
Ultimately, I would love to be a Stormtooper. I understand that they can be pricey, and yes I know that I am a little short to be a Stormtooper. So, I am thinking or starting my journey as a Jawa. If anyone could please give me any tips on how I can get my costume together I would super appreciate it. In the meantime, I'm super happy to be a wrangler while I'm getting my costume sorted if you need any help.
Can't wait to go trooping!

Hi there and welcome.
Some pretty good info above, so best to follow those.
If you are still puzzled on what costume to go with have a look over all the CRLs and pick one, but usually best to pick something that you really want to do. If you want a stormtrooper go for it, research the kits available for the best kit to suit your body and your budget.

Do heaps of research, that is something that I highly recommend for any costume. Read and re-read the CRL, sign up on the detachment to research screen images, builds, where to buy parts, how to make parts, do a build thread to get feedback along the way so you won't get disappointed at the approval stage if something requires to be fixed.
