Rockin 4 a Cause - NARGA - Hervey Bay - Baytrooper - Friday 5-Aug-2016 Date: Sunday 31st July 2016 Venue: Seafront Oval Hervey Bay Time: 11:00am - 4:00pm Mission: To help raise funds for NARGA (National Animal Rescue Groups Australia) Trooper Attendance: Redback Garrison Arienh : TD 22372 Baytrooper : TS 22422 Beanie : FN 4159 BigDub : TI 10600 DarkFather : SL 37781 Firestorm : TI 91397 GaugeRage : TB 86810 PhantomBlade : ID 302027 Wolf : DZ 2471 Galactic Academy GA CKOR 2069 : Kylo GA CFO2071 : Phasma GA CREY 2070 : Rey GA GJED 0729 : Twi'lek GA CSLV2072 : Vader Support Crew Cadet : Destiny Cadet : LittleMissTiger Cadet : Red Sonja Cadet : Triple9 Details: Upon hearing that the Wide Bay region was in need of assistance, General Hux decided to dispatch one of the Legion's finest. The Imperial Bean cruiser arrived to secure the area the night before the troop, where he proceeded to test out the local offerings. The next morning, troopers arrived at the rendezvous point to establish a stronghold. They came from Far, Far Away, wanting to support Animal Rescue. The First Order Trooper from Brisbane. The always committed and long journey veterans arrived from Bundaberg. And the Sunshine Coast was represented with the arrival of a Biker Scout and his support. The Local Wide Bay Troopers welcomed their arrival and set up the E-Web to keep the locals in line. The local News soon heard of our presence and quickly moved to learn more aboot what we do. Vader wooed the locals. Both Humanoid, Pirate and Canine. The local Jawa was being chased by the Twi'lek and tried to find refuge by hiding in a Foam Pit. I think once he got in there, he forgot aboot hiding and just decided to play with the bubbles. Members of the Galactic Academy also left their mark on the locals, gaining many compliments and praise and helped out with gathering donations for the cause. The Biker Scout struggled to decide on what form of transport he preferred. In the end, I think he settled for a Bike. During the day, 3 Troopers went on a small reconnaissance mission. They spotted one lone Rebel flying by and attempted to bring it down. They were successful. They did take a moment to reflect on their amazing accuracy The walk was a bit too far for the Tie Pilot (He's used to flying everywhere), and we had to evacuate the area to prevent the cause of a nasty accident. The day finished up and Troopers then went to the Hervey Bay Fish'n'Grill, the famous home of the Best Chicken Parmigiana in Queensland. Charity Funds Raised: $430 from the Collection Tins we had for the day. Injuries / Malfunctions: Nil Public Incidents: Nil Incidents that were seen but GA Rey's lightsaber was stolen unfortunately. Luckily I had a spare one of the same style at home and replaced it for her. As for the dinner afterwards, BigDub did the unthinkable and took his fork to my Parmy and messed it up as I was taking a photo. That's strike 1 dude Mission Status: Successful day and fun had by all. A little quiet on the public front, as there was another Festival not far away on the same day. Overall though, we were a hit as usual. A BIG Thank You to those who traveled up for this troop and Well Done to Red Sonja on her first Wrangling job.
