Kurwongbah State School Fete Promo - Dark Dora - Tuesday 11-Jul-2017

Teiwaz and myself arrived early to do the usual recce. During the briefing of as to how the morning was going to pan out, we were then informed that we were a surprise to the whole school and no-one apart from the fete committee knew we were coming.
We entered through the back of the hall with the Imperial March playing in the background to a crowd of 900 kids, teachers and parents. The excitement was unbelievable it was like we were rock stars. Plenty of high fives were given as we made our way to the stage where we were greeted by the Deputy Principal. Teiwaz then got the opportunity to explain how it works. The characters can't all hear or see you very well but we're very friendly and we love photos. Talk to the people in the red and black shirts, they'll be holding these buckets. We don't charge for photos but if you put a coin in the bucket it goes straight to the sustainable garden for your school. Who's coming to get a photo with us? A sea of hands shot up.

Great POCing and report Dark Dora. We had a fantastic reaction from the assembly and you could tell on Sunday it made it easier for the kids to approach us.
This was our grandkid's school, and we had a couple of chuffed grandkids in the crowd very pleased to inform their friends they know the troopers.
