Game Traders Hyperdome - Cougar - Saturday 1-Oct-2011

Date: 1st October 2011

Venue: Huge suburban shopping centre, also known as the Logan Hyperdome

Time:10-12

Mission: To help promote the Game Traders store, with new owners

Trooper Attendance:

TK5389 Phantom
BH8996 Tanna
TB8995 muppet

Guest Trooper Attendance: Junior RC Mitch

Support Crew: Junior muppets

Detail: BH8995 and TB8995 arrived around 9:30ish and carried out a small recon of the area. It was soon decided that it was time to show the locals the awesomeness of the mighty Redbacks and proceeded to armour up. Before they had finished, TK 5389 and Boss junior arrived and in the blink of an eye, all troopers were ready for duty.Store workers and customers were in awe as the troopers took control of the premises, and just to show their nice side, allowed many pictures to be taken, as evidence. TK 5389 and mini Boss decided to spread their wings and went for a walk further in the centre, whilst TB 8995 and BH 8996 stood guard. The first hour went by, not as busy as the owners had hoped for, but still there were many pictures taken and many a child's hand was stamped. It was time for a short break.
The second hour picked up a bit, the locals must like a lie in, (just like a certain no-show RedbackRolleyes) Our time was up, when we were joined by Master Chef, sorry Master Chief Wink Store owners were very happy with our presence and have asked us back, with a bit more notice next time.

Charity Funds Raised: $300, ( evidence will be forwarded onto GFO's when it comes in )

Injuries: none

Malfunctions: none

Public Incidents: only a few small kiddies, frightened by our awesomeness

Mission Status: Would have to be an absolute success. After a date change, it didnt look like any troopers would be able to attend, but thanks to Steve, Ken and myself that did, a charity will be $300 better off.

Nice little troop it was, have to say that the stamp was a real kid pleaser.

What does a scout use for transport when his speeder has been hijacked by some pesky ewoks?
