Biker Scout blaster Kit - Completed...For Sale Thread Listed :) - Oevil1 - Sunday 15-Sep-2013 While waiting for Barnes to open Monday to continue with my SE-14r project...I decided to start another project (like I don't have enough already right?), a Scout Trooper Blaster kit. I've had all the rounder pieces turned from hardwood. It was just quicker and cheaper to get it done today. I've decided to have the trigger guard made from aluminium and easily attached to the resin body. This should make it more durable if ever dropped More to come the next time I'm waiting for more pinkysil... Cut up all the turned pieces and attached to the main body. Also made up a 'barrel' using a couple of different silicon tube nozzles. As you can see I also married the trigger guard to the main body too. This will be attached with a single countersunk screw. Next will be the scope. I need to add some pieces and use A LOT OF BOG and shaping to come up with the prototype for casting and to make it easy to attach to the main body. Fingers crossed... A nice little tip I found (and as you can see I'm trying it out), is to lightly spray sections of your work (once finished), with a coat of neutral primer (grey), to enhance any imperfections before getting hyped up at the painting stage only to be disappointed RE: Biker Scout blaster Kit - more progress! - MammaSith - Sunday 20-Oct-2013 Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait RE: Biker Scout blaster Kit - more progress! - droll30 - Monday 21-Oct-2013 put me down for one tim i will need a blaster for my TB Biker Scout blaster Kit - more progress! - ashbash - Monday 21-Oct-2013 Woo can't wait to get me onw RE: Biker Scout blaster Kit - more progress! - Oevil1 - Thursday 21-Nov-2013 So many projects on the go...but managing to get a little done on everything slowly Still in the prototype building stage.... |
