The Southport School fundraiser - APOK - Friday 12-Sep-2014

Date: Friday 12th September 2014

Venue: The Southport School Prep

Time: 12.30pm to 2.00pm

Mission: The Southport Prep School wanted to raise money for the Starlight Foundation. to do this they got the kids to dress up as a hero they admire.

Trooper Attendance:
RBG: TKID and username/costume

Apok - TD3049
Oigen - TK8545

Details: Upon arriving at the TSS high school and realising we were at the wrong spot, we doubled back to the prep school.

Quickly we armoured up and headed out to the 90 odd kids that decided to pay $10 a photo waiting to have a photo with some real Stormtroopers. We only had an hour to get the photos before an assembly. Luckily Apok's previous experience in taking and having photos as a suit character and wrangler came into play. 90 photos in 40 minutes!!!! All with high fives and smiles.

Batmen, Iron Men, Hulks, Flashes, Clones, Anakins and even a gaggle of Darths were there. Even an Arsenal supporter. What the??

Once the photos were taken it was off to the teachers lounge for a quick drink. Both troopers were disappointed that despite the rumours that movies portray there was no cocktail bar in the teachers lounge. We had water.

Then it was off to an assembly to lorded as heroes and accept the thanks of the kids. The Imperial March playing as we entered as conquering kings the kids loved every minute of it. We could be wrong there but you all know that vision get's distorted when all you see is green. A quick speak from Apok and it was off to he next exciting adventure of being a member of the best effing Garrison in Legion.

Charity Funds Raised: $1770.00

Injuries / Malfunctions: Nil

Public Incidents: Nil

Mission Status: Complete success.

Photos: None were taken by us. We may get some fro the school at a later date.
