Sunday, a day of rest…. Also a great day for trooping! Even though the troop officially started at 10am, that didn’t stop Diatium from arriving as the sun came over the horizon. Our lonely trooper was shortly joined by Teiwaz and Dark Dora to commence assembly of a new death staaaa… wait… the wanted sign prop.



Moments later Altair arrived in his Imperial Nissan Pulsar to supervise construction. It seemed the landing crew were a bit confused and were questioning each other about the process. Perhaps these troopers had not had enough coffee?



MrjD arrived and caffeinated beverages were soon located and provided by the wonderful Bardon organisers. It was then discovered that Teiwaz may actually be a rebel spy, as intelligence claimed he was some type of water dragon?!



Anyways... The team then began setup of our HQ for the day and making themselves at home!



Re-enforcements (Whitey, Disco, Redpaint and Chiro) arrived, then the first round of troopers got kitted up and were deployed to our designated location. It was quickly decided that this was not an ideal location for photos due to the glare from that fiery ball in the sky!



So we found some shade and started doing what we do best! There were also reports of a certain Jawa riding the teacup ride and also singing over the PA







MyKill finally arrived to help out, looking a little tired... like he had been doing a lot of trooping??



The transport lands on Jakku as Stormtroopers come out firing blasters... almost



After 2 hours of trooping the crew had a quick lunch and then swapped over for the afternoon troopers. By this stage we feared there would be an abundance of sugar fueled kids running around, so our wranglers grabbed some armour!



As it was Churro's.... I mean Chiro's... second troop, Disco made sure that he didn't have issues with the notorious un-snapping of the cod strap!





Diatium found some supplies that we thought we un-guarded...



However this wasn't the case!



As the time ticked closer to 2pm, the fair started to wind down and then it was clean up time! The organisers rallied all attendees to help pick up rubbish using the Emu dance maneuver with the assistance of "Mr Stormtrooper" (Diatium).

Our cargo was then loaded and all imperial shuttles departed for our rondevu point at the pub

Charity Funds Raised: $154.20 (plus a 1943 penny)

Injuries / Malfunctions: None to report.

Public Incidents: None to report.

Mission Status: A great success! A fun day, plenty of photos taken and a good amount of donations raised! Great job team!
