Firstly my apologies for posting this so late. We met in the Cavill ave Mall where we changed in a small storage / fire cupboard. Once kitted up we made our way out into the Mall to meet and greet with kids and tourists and just be awesome on the Gold Coast. Originally we were to help in a parade of costumed characters but it was cancelled so we just mingled and entertained the masses until dark, by that point it starts to get a little dangerous at Surfers, even for troopers! Good job by all. Big thank you to Chookie for wrangling and taking a few pics.
Charity Funds Raised:
After a few anxious weeks I have had conformation that $500 has been donated to the Starlight Foundation on our behalf.
Injuries / Malfunctions: N/A
Public Incidents: A pair of gentlemen that may have had a few too many brewski's wanted the troopers to lift them and hold them and had to be asked to move along, move along...
