Queensland Model Hobbies Expo 2010

Mission: To spread the message of the emperor and enforce his law at the Queensland Model Hobbies Expo. (And raise some money for the cancer council.)

Detail:
Due to shuttle checks and signal light failures, TK4598 arrived at the venue at 0830hrs on saturday. TK3212, TK6300 and TX4881 had already arrived and were armouring up. TK4598 proceeded to setup the Imperial checkpoint and install the first GNK Powerdroid. The armoured troopers arrived at the checkpoint just as TK4598 completed the setup. With the checkpoint manned, TK4598 went to assist DZ7622 with retrieving the second GNK Powerdroid and installing it. DZ7622 then proceeded to take the guise of a Tusken Raider.

With all the troops armoured and at the checkpoint, TK4598 remained in civilian clothing to wrangle. The public arrived and troops spread out to maintain the peace. Martyr appeared mid-morning and a discussion about armour was had with the new recruit. Shortly after, trooper 7384 (Bigmac) made an appearance and provided some civillian support.

Around Lunch, TK6300 and TK3212 de-armoured and TK4598 armoured up. A tour around the hall was conducted while the dearmoured troops went to pickup some sustenace for the hungry troopers.

After lunch, TB6263 arrived and TK6300 re-armoured. The two TKs and TX4881 made a roadside appearance, recieving horns from cars, trucks and busses as well as a siren from an unmarked police car. The troopers then returned inside the hall and patrolled until closing time.

Troops arrived at 0745hrs on sunday, arriving early to install trooper 7266 (TheSnipers)'s E-Web cannon. The patrols began at 0900hrs and TB8995, TK4132 and ID2153 (both in civillian clothing) arrived. The checkpoint was bolstered by some additional items and photographs taken. With the arrival of the new troopers, citations arrived, and it wasn't long before the first rebel sympathiser was found. Over the course of the day, many citations were distributed, mostly for the smuggling of weapons and stolen plans.

TB8995, TK4132 and ID2153 left at around 1230hrs while TK4598, TX4881 and trooper 7266 patrolled until 1600hrs.

Injuries:
None noted.

Malfunctions:
No severe malfunctions noted.

Public Incidents:
TK5705 was spotted and issued a citation for not being in an imperial uniform.

A civillian was arrested at the disgression of the Brisbane Scale Modle Club and escorted to their checkpoint where the prisoner was presented with some stolen plans. Both the prisoner and the presenter were issued citations for the smuggling of stolen plans.

Many storeholders were issued with citations for smuggling illegal weapons, droids and possessing stolen plans. Several were found to be harbouring rebel sentiments. Many members of the public were issued citations for possessing unauthorised photographic devices and taking unauthorised photos of troopers.

Oh hey Moxxxie, any chance this troop report could get posted to the main page? Had a guy who wanted a photo with us but left his camera at home so Hoppy offered to take the photo on his camera and upload it to the photobucket account. We told him where to come to find the photo.
