Hi from the Gold Coast

Hi, thought I'd drop by and say hi. I'm on the Gold Coast and looking at starting a Sandtrooper kit, Many years ago I did start down the path and still have an old Mold Man armour kit untouched........but then kids came along and well free time seemed to have evaporated. They're older now and it seems that I have some free time on my hands again so would like to revisit the Sandtrooper build. I'm looking forward to getting started.
Cheers

Hi mate and welcome. I have an old MM kit too, but I went shiny white Smile

I am sure you are all over it. Just remember to research the costume and the variants on the CRL:

Thanks for the welcome and thanks for all the info Phantom. I'm looking at starting the helmet first and from the CRL there a few differences between a TK and TD helmet.

I can't seem to find on the forum when/where local armour parties are, is there a place on the forums that these are listed or are just not any at the moment?

Cheers

Hi Simon and welcome to the forums,

Armour parties come up when people organise them and as we are a hobby group, real life takes presence. They are either advertised in the upcoming events or troops section, sometimes they pop up in the cantina section depending on where the organiser posts them.

Armour parties are not limited to troopers, you are welcome to host one yourself, chuck on a BBQ and invite us round for one and Im sure youll get a fair few people along.

Caught up with some of the 501st at Brisnova, as usual you all looked great. Looks like my MM kit possibly to small for me Sad time to look at an AM kit instead.
