Hello, I'm Zac
I recently moved to caloundra from central QLD and I love Star Wars, I cannot officially join until November (still 17) but I would love to find a outfit and enlist. If a hopeful future raaf career does not impose that is :P
But yeh, pleasure to meet you Smile

Welcome wrigzach, first question is what sort of costume are you interested in? Stormtrooper, TIE Pilot, Clone there are alot of choices, some like Clones and the Fetts can easily cost over $1K Stormtroopers and Pilots can be done up for about the $1K but some like the Reserve Pilot or Imperial Crewman can be done up for a few $100.

There are a few build threads around have a browse through them and see if any of them appeal to you to start with.
Duty * Honor * Empire

What do you call a stormtrooper who can hit a target?

Well you prob want to join the Jolly Roger squadron forum as well that's the tie pilot specific site

Also look at the CRL on the 501st.com site for what's required

That's assuming you haven't done the above already Smile

Flight suit you can get from cosplaysky
Officer hat sideshowmel within the garrison makes
Muppet for belt and code disc

That should give basics to start for a reserve

Stormraven recently did a tie pilot so he will be able to answer with more detail

Warning wearing a full tie fighter outfit will result in you being calls darth vader

Hey there mate and welcome to the Redbacks.

You have a bit of time up your sleeve so all I can suggest is research and research ask lots of questions.

Good luck and have fun!!
