Mission: To grant a great wish to a small child

Support Crew: Make-A-Wish Staff
Detail: A request came through the local command post for a imperial show of support at a granting of a wish for young citizen.
The request was for Snowtroopers as Kai’s wish was to go to the snow, but as they were off on their annual Wampa hunt, it fell back to the Awesome Nova Trooper Apok and his trusty sidekick Biker Scout Chief.
We arrived at the show ground and parked our transport, after gaining entry to the grounds we searched for the Make-A-Wish tent, this is when we discovered that after three days of rain the grounds a turned into a Dagobah swamp. With no room to change in the tent/swamp we scouted around for another area, which we found in the form of the grounds main office with the help local security forces.
Once suited up we headed down to the stage area to check out the local acts and wait for Kai and his family to arrive. Kai and his family were not aware what was about to happen they thought they were there to help raise money and put a face to the cause, it was not until we got on stage that they found out that Kai’s wish was being granted and that they were all going to the snow, they also kitted Kai out with all his snow gear on stage.
It was great to see him smile. After the presentation we got some pictures with Kai and his family and all the Make-A-Wish staff.
Even though it was very very muddy the troop was well worth it.
Charity Funds Raised: Raised a small amount after the wish was granted for photos.
