Brisbane Basket Brigade Packing Day

Troop Report
Date: 15th December 2013

Venue: Brisbane Basket Brigade - Ashgrove.

Time:9am till 12 noon.

Mission: This was certainly an interesting troop. Our troopers made a grand entrance into a large hall filled with up to 350 charity volunteers ready to pack over 550 large hampers for disadvantaged families. So why was the 501st there? To keep up morale of course Smile

And we didn't disappoint...high fives every body!

Naturally our troopers helped where they could...not too sure how much help they were...

The troopers managed to make it to all the various work stations around the large hall. FYI, don't get too close to the wrapping table...

The troopers then moved on to the dispatch area...

But these boxes were heavy! So the troopers delegated the task to someone else...

All in all, this was a fun troop supporting those making a difference and recommend it to all troopers for next year!

Thanks to Supatrooper, Stormraven and Oevil1 for encouraging GA's on these troops and really making them feel part of everything - have a great Christmas and New Year guys.

Another great troop to be involved with, fantastic to see such generous spirited people giving up their time to help out others.

ALRAKIS its been awesome to have you and your GA's attend events through the year and hopefully it won't be too much longer before you get fully approved yourself Wink

Amazing to see so many people take time to do so much on a hot day - it will make a world of difference to the people in need.
Great work to Stormraven keeping a watchful Rebel eye on us, Jackson Fett for keeping the Xmas lights on and Alrakis for been our very on RBG paparazzi ! A special thanks to my daughter who helped me and the crowd take photos ~ I think she understands now what we are all about Wink
