Details: On a brisk May Sunday morning, destination, the lovely Rocks Resort Currumbin, the dark lord Vader accompanied by the wookie Chewbacca were invited to witness the marriage of Ken and Megan.

Both big Lucas fans, their young son name Callum Indian Jones Transport from the hotel to the beach was by a vintage split window Combi van, which presented a challenge for the wookie.




You couldn't have picked a more beautiful part of the Queensland coast,




There was a strong sea breeze, and Chewie felt like a puppy dog, hanging their head outside the window of a fast moving car



Many photos were taken

Ken the groom was warned that this would happen if he didn't look after Megan

After the vows and swapping of saliva, it was time for us to depart.

I have already shared this with the troopers involved, but here is a thank you email we received on Monday

Meg and I wanted to say thank-you so much for helping to organise getting Darth Vader and Chewie to attend our wedding in Currumbin Beach yesterday.

The guys were both absolutely brilliant and really helped to put an extra shine on an already amazing day for both of us.
Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to Ken and Mike for taking the time to come down.

Our wedding photographer really enjoyed getting to take some creative photos with Vader and Chewie involved. He tells us the photos should all be ready in a few weeks time so Meg and I will email you when they come through with a set of the photos that include your guys.
