[Buddy Love]

Hi Guys,

My name is Buddy, & I live in Townsville. Have been a Star Wars fan for many, many moons…always the Empire, can’t stand the Jedi or the Rebel Scum. Even have a few tattoos with my love for the Empire!

Have been following you guys for a while, and interested in joining the 501st. Finally I have taken the courage and my first steps into a larger world. Ideally I’d love to join as an Imperial Royal Guard…..but having a family and mortgage, funds are often limited. In saying that, my wife has allowed me to join as an Imperial Officer….and slowly I will begin to amass a uniform. She gets the added benefit of a man in Uniform…and I’m clean shaven!

Thought I’d introduce myself….and can anyone point me in the right direction in obtaining the parts for the uniform?

Welcome to the forums Buddy, Townsville is a great place and we have a few troopers up that way. Seantrooper, NQ DUDE and Vepariga. Make sure you look them up.
I'll PM you the details for the Officer uniform.

For your research, I strongly advise you to sign up on the Sovereign Protectors detachment Force Pike. It is the place for all info on the royal guards and you will also find a list of vetted armour suppliers, patterns etc:

A few of our officers have purchased from cosplaysky. If you do go down this track have a chat to a few officers around they might be able to give you a better idea of what to do when you deal with them. Other items to complete the costume belt, hat etc can be purchased from Redback members.

Thanks for the warm welcome and advice guys. Ive been working FIFO for a little while now....and am not always in town But I will try to catch up with the troops when Im in town.

BTW, I aquired my nickname, because my last name is Buddy.....and when I was in the Army it had an ironic ring to it (I was an angry man)...lol
