So cant have pistols without something with a bit more kick

so grabbing screenshots from The Clone Wars again got me these images









Checking out the Mando Merc's forums I found templates made by a member call Kuu


I didn't have a piece of wood large enough to do the blaster barrel (using some I found in the bin from the houses being built in my area) with the grip so plan to reuse the grip from the pistols once moulded


Cut out the barrel section twice and laminated together


which has got me here so far... while I just fix up the pieces to fit tighter

So I want the barrel section to be removable for transport and access to future electronics I'll eventually place in it

So the plan will be to add magnets along the length on the barrel to hold in place and a couple of dowel points to ensure lines up right

Carved the blaster vents out with combination of wood burning tool and a carving blade



Bit of cleaning up needed where the pine splintered but happier with this than the pistols vents... Will prob go back and revisit
