Just generally.. if youre a C.A.T (compact assault trooper, aka short) then an MM might suit you. If you're a bit taller or a bit bigger in size, then an AM might suit you.. AM can be cut down to fit someone who is a bit slighter too.

Hey trooper, tiri is correct. There is armour out there that is more suited for certain sizes of trooper.

If you don't mind me asking, what are your rough measurements, height, weight etc...
