Greetings Redbacks!

I've recently had my Jedi costume approved on Rebel Legion, and thought I'd introduce myself to my new shadowy allies (or technically enemies? or is it vice-versa? )

Background: The usual - spent childhood obsessed with Star Wars A few years back I discovered GenCon, and thus Supanova - and my life hasn't been the same since.
That was when I saw my first 501st Legion members with Darth Vader, Boba Feet and the stormtroopers... I have wanted to join up since
Eventuly I had gathered unto myself a collection of 11 Force FX lightsabers (half Jedi half Sith). Realising that I had all these lightsabers and no jedi/sith robes to complete the circle I decided to finally create a costume in time for Gold Coast Supanova.
Fast forward to now and I'm finally living the dream :D

At this stage (unfortunately) I probably won't be in a position to create a requisite Dark Side costume to become an active member But as a wise Jedi Master once said "Always in motion, the future, is"
So I'll just have to settle for the forums in the meantime. And the run-ins with the local stormtroopers or dozen at future events

Speaking of which I'm looking forward to meeting some of you out and about at the MS Moonlight Walk and Brisbane Supanova

Gday Thrawn glad to see you went and got approved , I saw your costume at Astro Petes - I was the Imperial Officer there - but then again rebels aren't too fussy about who they let in .

There are few cheaper options to join the Dark Side we could always use more Imperiar Crewman ( janitors ) or larger jawas ( big targets ) and there are a few Sith options other than Vader. But with a name like yours you should consider doing Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Happy to have more Rebels in Queendland, they make fantastic target practice! (only kidding! we don't need to practice! :D)

Make sure you block out the first weekend in May next year. We invade Dreamworld, and it's one of the highlights of the year!

I'm pleasantly surprised at how many famous members I've already met at previous events That said I'm still struggling to match my poor short-term memory with the jigsaw like puzzle of match trooper helmets with faces But that's the super-ninja skills of the stormtroopers at work for you :D
Soon though I shall get to know the faces behind the trooper helmets

As for a future Imperial costume... I'm thinking I'd probably go with either a Sith Lord or an Imperial Officer/Grand Admiral After all a certain awesome Chiss helped inspire my forums names hehehe
