Hi guys!, my name is Michael and I am obviously new here, I hope to assemble my own clone armour and eventually fully join the 501st legion. Any advice and help in regards to building or where i can buy or make parts of my armour would be much obliged, Cheers.

Hi there Michael, welcome to the Redback.
Jump on over to http://clonetroopers.net/ there you will find all stuff clone related and they should be able to point you in the right direction for armour. Are you after realistic or animated?

Welcome! Where abouts in QLD you're located etc., we've got troopers across a fair chunk of the state now, so hopefully someone's not too far from you...

Thanks for the welcome. I am actually located about an hour east of Melbourne. I saw the 501st at the OZ Con in Melbourne on Saturday and i was inspired to make my own.

Welcome Cr1mson there are a lot of clones to choose from and not just from the movies but also the animated series as well. There are a few guys in the garrison who have had some routine as well as unusual ones, so you should be able to get plenty of advice whichever way you go.

I was thinking possibly an ARC trooper or possibly a replica of Fives or Rex from the clone wars.

Hey Cr1mson just saw you are from Melbourne, and we are the Queensland based garrison. Your local unit The Southern Dewback Squad has just been granted garrison status in the last week or so, they have their own website http://www.501sdg.com/forum/index.php and you can find some local members there.
