TIME: 0800 - 1300

MISSION: To promote PSD by handing out flyers and collect donations for the McGrath Foundation.

DETAILS: The 3 days leading up to this troop were (put bluntly) crap. Rain, rain and more rain. Troop day came around and what do you know, a fine day. We turned up at 0800 and opened up our change room. After stowing our gear we then proceeded to find the most important thing of any troop, COFFEE!!!!! Once we had fueled ourselves on the Empires awesome coffee we set up the 501st flags and wanted prop.

Prop up we went back and kitted up. This took a while as it was the first troop of the year for most of us. Some of us stood by the prop and the rest of us wandered the markets. Lots of photos were taken, lots of smiles were put onto little faces and almost 300 flyers were handed out.

At one point some of the TK's and that pesky little Jawa took over the waffle shop and were taking orders with great success.

The markets were closing at 1300 so we decided to pull up stumps and head to the pub for a feed. All in all a good day.

A big thanks to the guys and girls who turned up. Especially Haak and Scorchette who were out on their first troop and did an outstanding job looking after the troopers.

TOTAL DONATIONS RAISED: $220.25

INJURIES/MALFUNCTIONS: Scorpion had his blaster broken when a kid hugged him.

PUBLIC INCIDENTS: We nearly lost a Jawa. She was nearly eaten by a BIG dog.

MISSION STATUS: A total success. Fun had by all and PSD was well and truly promoted.

Thanks for having me guys I had an awesome time wrangling and it was a pleasure to meet a bunch more of you guys that I hadn't yet.
Shame I had to leave straight after we packed or would come to pub with you guys for a feed!
Evertime I wrangle it just makes me even more eager to get Vader done so I get out there in costume with guys as well
