Mission Status:
We arrived with plenty of time to spare to suit up and greet the guests as they started to arrive. It was a beautiful clear Townsville afternoon with a slight breeze which made the trooping very comfortable. The Groom and his groomsmen were thoroughly pleased with the 501st turnout, sneaking in a few photos with us before more guests and bride arrived.

We formed a guard of honour and saluted the Bride as she walked down the aisle. During the ceremony we stood guard to ensure the nuptials were not interrupted by any unforeseen forces...

Due to the Groom being a lover of sci-fi there was also a Dalek that a local men's group had made (shout out to the Townsville Men's Shed), complete with lights, sounds, wired joystick for movement controls and the ability to sit inside. This presented us with a great opportunity for some unique photos that I'm sure the Bride and Groom will enjoy.

We did take a lot of photos, alas we found out most of the way through the troop that the camera being used didn't have a memory card in it Sad So we resorted to using a phone which did a decent enough job. Luckily Seantrooper knows some of the wedding photographers and was able to get us some photos. The Men's Shed also posted photos of us and the Delek to their Facebook page, so luckily the best moments were captured.

All in all, a great success!
