Details:
Early Saturday Morning team Scope and MadamSith arrived to setup the Card Prop and the Endor backdrops and then the rest of the Imperial Shuttles begun to landed but the descend was a difficult one due to some severe wind and rain weather event just like those found on Kamino, some approaches were closed or beginning to closer. Once inside the venue the crowds was also low due to the weather which at times imperial presents outnumbered the public!

The day continued on with photos and high fives from a mix of Imperials and Lego imperial troopers and a special visit from a lego Minifig MAX!

The day ended as the little crowds left so over all the first day was not a very successfully day.

Day 2 was a stark contrast to the day before with bright blue clear sky's.
Today will be a great day, it started with the 9-10:30am session for the autism public session, with a few cheerful smiles and laughs and a few sneaky jawas playing up it was a great start.

Sunday crowds were lining up outside and you could smell the coffee brewing and the bacon sizzling in the breeze and we knew we were going to have our work cut out for us today, the crowds flooded the venue and at times was difficult to move abouts, the rotation of the troopers were excellent and the public were overjoyed to seeing us. Everything was Awesome today!

Charity Funds Raised:
$407, all funds handed to Julie as the representative for RIZE UP on the day.

Injuries / Malfunctions:
There may have been a few wet socks on Saturday but other then that not sure.

Public Incidents:
TBA

Mission Status:
Day one was almost a fail due to the Kamino weather event but day two was the usual fun and games from such an event, the crowds were great!

HA!! Love the LEGO heads!!
yeah our late member Sniper made one for such an event and i have been cutting and make them since for all. Even the BrisBricks members have a couple ive done for them and they wear it around at event and the public and the kids love it, big hit.
What an awesome idea! Do you sell them? If so how much?
if you can buy one and bring to me, i can cut them up and make them for $50, i got the time to make them
Sweet! Where do we get them? Is the an online site that sells prints or something?
they are lego sort heads and found at almost all dept stores in the lego area. Target or Kmart have them.
Ah sweet! Cheers
Apart from the torrential rain we braved Saturday morning and low crowd numbers it was a good event .
Great report Beanie! It certainly was a fun weekend
Sorry if i missed names I pulled the list from the sign up sheet

To give credit to where it is due ... these lego heads were made by D&W Creations. Scorch and Diatium do a fantastic job and you can check out their facebook page ... just search for D & W Creations Smile
I am sure they would be happy to answer any of your questions.
Sweet. Thanks for that Scorohette
Ohh yeah i dont paint them up with different face expressions since they come with an expression i just cut the insides out and cut the eyes out. Simple and original. If you want the painted i think they charge more for it.
It was great troop can't wait for BrisBricks in october.
Everyone did a great good.
Especially all the people that help out Jas and anda in the bump in crew with getting everything in and setup with the monsoonal weather.
Thank you to the wrangler as well you did a great job looking after everyone including myself ;-)
