Hi!

My names Casey and I'm from the (sometimes) sunny Gold Coast!

I'm a long time fan of SW and of the 501st

I'm looking at a few different CRL to get ideas of what I'm wanting to do (I'm thinking Juno Eclipse) but I'm happy getting ideas from different forums for now while I start off ✨

I do have a question though - if there's a character we'd like to bring to life not listed in the CRL can we submit them for approval?

Welcome to thw Forums. I would say yes to something new but judging from what my partner had to go through in order to get it approved with her Swamp Trooper, it can be a bit tricky. I am sure someone else would have more experience with this kind of thing will be helpful and where you can look.

We've had a couple of Juno Eclipses so have a look through the build threads to find them (presuming they did one but most of us normally do as that way details can be corrected before things get to far off course and helps when other people want to make the same costume) otherwise there are a couple of people here that will be able to answer questions from when they did theirs.

New costumes can be added but there is a process for it (I may not get all the details right) ... basically it would come down to is the character in the "bad guy" side of things and then you would need to supply reference images to sure that the costume you are making matches against those images... May be a difficult (not necessarily impossible) task for a first costume though

Perhaps I should stick with Juno and work towards submitting something later down the track when I get the hang of things more

Our Garrison Membership Liaison officer (GML) will have more details about adding new costumes and will likely say hi when he sees this thread

Sounds like you are on the right track with Juno, there are a couple of CRLs to choose from:

Just be wary on where you buy from, always ask questions here before you part with your money.

Muppet has given you a good link about a new costume. Basically you need to research it inside out and only use LFL/Disney licensed images. With the images we need to be able to see the costume from all angles predominately front, back and sides plus any other details needed to replicate the costume.
