The day, or as I prefer to call it, PONYPALOOZA started at about 11:30 with a few troopers arriving early to scope out the area and set up the wanted prop for the day's proceedings.
We found the lack of coffee vans disturbing. The weather forecast was also less than favourable but that was not going to stop this little shindig from happening. As the time came to suit up, troopers rolled in as did support crew and we got ready to do our thing.

As first time POC for me, I made the rookie mistake of over-promising to help get numbers up, and may have mentioned ponies. This was a magnet for pony lovers listed in the Trooper Attendance, who just would not let that tiny detail go, and as a result, as a man of my word ponies were provided, and I am sure that each trooper will post pics of their new kit addition.




Not long after the event started, the rain decided to hit. We had a small issue with the wanted poster, snapping a plastic connector whilst moving it out of the rain. The decision was made to move props to the change room and go to roam mode.

A couple of TK's decided to interrogate a suspicious individual in soft armour. Big mistake. She had friends.

All in all, a good little troop - a shame the weather closed in, however still a good turnout for both our troops and also the school.

Injuries: Slide Effect received an accidental uppercut from a youngling when told to "put em up", however recovered well.
Wanted Poster also suffered a busted joiner but easy fix ( thank Palpatine )

Awesome looks like it was a fun day

A lot of drying off to do after this one.

Wet fetes arent a lot of fun. We've done a couple of them this year and they're a disappointment for the families and limits the fundraising for the school. With a limited number of activities the kids can do indoors, one of them is getting photos with us. So our presence at these fetes is really appreciated by the organisers and the families.

Great POCing Disco, we were all fed and housed well, but I think a Jawa stole my pony.

Great work for your first POC Disco! Shame about the crappy weather but it was still a great troop with lots of good memories such as a TK and TI doing the waltz together....

Even though it rained we still had a lot fun. Trooping days are great days. Great report Stu.

Deny deny deny.....I did not dance with that TK.....there is no evidence and you cant prove otherwise hahaha.
