Details: If you're not familiar with Hummingbird House, it is Queensland's only children's hospice providing 24/7 care for children affected by a life limiting condition in a home away from home. It opened in October 2016. Redback Garrison trooped several fundraising activities to help pay for its construction. More info on the house here. http://www.hummingbirdhouse.org.au/
The troop went smoothly. We had a good turnout of troopers and rebels, and thanks Bally for the wrangling assistance. We met the guests, one of whom had a Star Wars knowledge that would leave most of us in the dust! After the photos with guests and staff we were given a tour of some of the cool features of the house as you can see in the photos.
We gave our trading cards to the guests and left some GA, Dreamworld and GECB flyers at reception.

The Force was with Hummingbird House today, thanks to a visit from the Redback Garrison - 501st Legion! Some of our current guests are big Star Wars fans, and enjoyed meeting Luke Skywalker, Stormtroopers, a Jawa, Sabine and a Rebel Pilot.
