Details: This was the Redback's second appearance at Dayboro Show, after the dismal weather last year we were happy to see a bright clear day with strong crowds to match.
We did two stints in costume, essentially long patrols around the outside of the arena. The show had a good sized sideshow alley, the arts craft and produce on show, and various vendors. Including my favourite, the machinery vendors, who are always accomodating having Star Wars characters all over their vehicles and equipment, as you can see in the album. The crowd was happy and friendly, with great interactions and photos during the day.
The show committee were again good to deal with and grateful for our attendance. We were invited to troop both days of the show but we focused our numbers on trooping Saturday. Our change room was an equipment shed, easy to find and fine for our needs. The committee will be making a donation on our behalf and I'll update this post when it comes through.
Thanks troopers for making the drive out there, it was a great day.
Charity Funds Raised: $501 to Are You Bogged Mate (rural mental health charity).
