Details:
1330: Arrived at the botanical gardens to nice and sunny weather despite the expected rain
1345: Met with the event contact and got into costume. Some of the band members and the MC were dressed up
1400: Were introduced by the MC for photos to a crowd of 520 people!
1410: Took position off to the side of the stage in a nice, grassed area for photos.
1440: Enjoyed the music while the band continued to play including "2001 - A Space Odyssey" & "The Star Trek Theme"
1500: Band finished playing, Answered questions from people interested in making their own costume and de-kitted
Summary:
All in all was a fantastic event where our attendance was greatly appreciated and really added to the concert. All attending troopers reported having a fantastic time and the organiser will likely invite us back next year!
