Relby-V10 Micro Grenade Launcher

The reptilian bounty hunter is armed to his pointed teeth with this impressive weapon.
A British Schermuly anti-riot gun was modified to become Bossk's micro-grenade launcher. Little was done to this gun so as to avoid any permanent modifications. Like many of the real weapons used in Star Wars it was only rented from the prop company in England.

Schermuly Anti-Riot Gun

Mounted on the top of this gun are two M38 or M40 azimuth tank telescopes. These scopes can be also seen on E-11 and DL-44 type blasters. The scopes went through a small design change from 1942 to 1943. The 1943 model is the correct one for this prop and can be identified by the upside down "T" shape of the front mount.

The barrel of the gun was capped off with a part from a Revell V-8 model engine kit. The piece is part #43, the timing gear from the front of the camshaft. A tube shaped piece with an oval hole through it forms the tip of the blaster. This part is yet unidentified but resembles a gun's flash hider.

Woodchuck in the US makes a nice wooden replica of this weapon.

Greedo's Blaster

A Ruger MK 1 (Model T678) was used for this blaster, mods were simple with a few pieces of plastic attached to the main body of the gun. The barrel was filed down a little and a model aeroplane engine part was attached to the end.

Tusken Raider

The Gaderffii or "Gaffi Stick" was made from a wooden Fijian war club called a "totokia". The totokias used were the "pineapple type" so called because of the textured end with the pointed head that resembles the fruit. In fact, the weapon's design is based on another fruit, that of the pandanus tree. It was used to punch a hole in a victim's skull.

There is good DIY tutorial on building your own Gaffi on TK 1336's site. Tusken Raider

Another good build can be watched on TK409's YouTube tutorial. Gaffi Build

King Jawa sells a resin and rubber version of the "pineapple" head for those who want a more "canon" looking Gaffi.

VALKEN - 38
Dengar's Blaster.

Dengar's large blaster carbine was a modified MG-42 machine gun circa WWII. The folding bipod stand was removed from underneath the main barrel. The hook that held the bipod in the folded position was left in place and can be seen as a small protrusion in the picture above. The wooden stock on the back was also removed.

Note: In many pre-production still photos Dengar is pictured holding a BlasTech DLT-19 (a modified MG 34). This was not the gun he had in the film, but it was used by 4-LOM.

Though the two MG's look similar there are differences between the two, the barrels being the biggest. The 42's barrel is more "squareish" the 34's is round.

Merr-Sonn GRS-1 Snare Rifle
[Image: potf2acc-rifle-zuckuss.jpg]

Snare rifles were non-lethal hunting weapons used to capture dangerous creatures and bounties alive. This was the preferred weapon of choice for the Bounty Hunter Zuckuss.

The Woodchuck in the US makes a very nice version of this weapon, due to the fact there isn't a lot know about this blaster I think he has done a great job.
