Hey guys,

My names Dylan, I'm 26 and currently working on a ROTJ Royal Guard to gain membership to the 501st with my local Garrison (SCG).

Thought I would sign up here in case any events pop up in the future that might need me to post over here. Also wanted to say hi for the same reasons Smile
Hi, and welcome!

Dreamworld next year is one event you may wish to travel up here for..Smile
Hey cybermew,

good to see you've joined up.

There's an events button up top where you can see the upcoming troops including dreamworld.

When you get your robes from FP post up some pictures so we can have a look.
Welcome,
So you didint go with robes from Ang? good choice
Yea muppet. I didn't get around to letting you know but FP got back to me and started making robes a week and a bit ago. I then got in contact with Ang and somehow had a refund done in 2 hours. She just seems too busy to spend enough time making more than 1 every month and a halfSad
welcome to QLDs redbacks... always love meeting new folks from my southern brothers!!!
Always good to have another guard around Smile Welcome mate!!
Hi Dylan, welcome to the Forums
OK!

An update for you all on here Smile

My helmet has shipped (should be here tomorrow or Friday), my pike is not far off, and robes posting early next week.

Getting excited!!
Great to hear, Its an exciting time when you know you have parts in transit, makes it feel oh so much closer.
Just because I know how much you guys want to see the progress.....

But seriously had some fun last night:

All in all a pretty awesome night!!!!!!
Thats an AWESOME looking force pike Cheeky

Seriouly, looking good so far, be sure to keep us updated.
Looks good mate.

You might want to change your visor down the track as you can see in.
That's if it worries you.

It annoyed me enough to change mine.

yea certainly looking at that with the ability to see in. At the same time you can see the slight bit of eyes and start of a face through the ROTJ guard shots from the movie as well, so became a little less worried.

I was thinking though, out in the sun that will be completely different, and you would see into it a lot more than you do now and probably supposed to. So it's something I'll look at Smile
and then I became a member...

what a useful thread this has been for everyone. Seriously though I will get some photos up of the second set of robes I'm getting made when they are finished... will have about 6 meters more material than the FP ones and hopefully drape a lot more.

SO an official HI from TR-5973 now Smile Hoping to get up for Dream World
