Detail:
Ok..
Mission was to wow the imperial citizens of Toowoomba and raise funds for the Childrens ward at Toowoomba base Hospital.
The mission was for Saturday but several of the empires finest turned up Friday night and feasted at the Federal Hotel (which is now the official Redback Pub in Toowoomba). Saturday Morning at about 8.30 we met across from the shopping center at Maccas for a pre troop brekky/ recce.
We headed over to the rooftop carpark and got premuim parking right outside the doors. Some of us need to go back to imperil shuttle school and learn how to park straight...I wont name names but photo evidence will reveal a poorly parked shuttle.
Entering the building we contacted the staff of the Cinema who were supposed to have been informed of our arrival only to get blank stares..
A quick call to Lizzy from 4GR got us the cinema bosses name and we bandied it around to great effect. We were soon given the run of the back rooms of the cinemas. After rearranging part of the cinema foyer, we had soon setup the photo booth and patrons had started to arrive.
By this time many other troopers and wranglers had arrived and we were looking AWESOME. The day proceeded as per schedule with many patrons taking advantage of basking in our awesomeness and wanting pics.
Hamish from CFM who donated several thousand dollars of free advertising for us for Dreamworld turned up and I suited him up in armour. He hasnt stopped smiling since.
Several patrols wandered through the center in search of rebel scum and were warmly greeted by local citizens. At the end of our assignment we recalled all troops and proceeded to the squad room to de armour and socialize. It was agreed that we all head to "The Federal" for after troop R & R.
At "The Federal" we socialised and the received an incoming data burst with vital info. We had raised $863.45 for the day.

Charity Funds Raised:
$863.45 plus another $150 donated by a friend of the empire. So the total for the day was $1013.45

Injuries:
None reported

Malfunctions:
None Reported

Public Incidents:
Public still in shock and awe

Mission Status:
Completed and successful. Money raised by us was just a smidge over $1000 and have just received the total raised for the whole month. Last year the appeal raised about $46000 this year it was $71450. Well done to all.
We may get some new recruits as several patrons said they were very interested and had their own ultra sabers etc.
