Again another E-11 buildWink this time I am not doing the Hasbro conversion or the pipe build but the full as supplied kit from Doopydoo's, also doing one for a mate in parallel.

The detail in this kit is very good and clean castings so far. Wont be modding this much and just need to make the scope rail and dabble with some additional detail on some items.

Terror

Awesome I'll enjoy watching this.
What sort of funds and time commitments do you think this version will have Terra?
Will stay with ANH version as that is what my TK is. Also they are site as the ANH version off the Doopy's website.

These were 38 pounds as stated on the website - http://www.doopydoos.com/stormtrooper-e-...2685-p.asp

As for time well................

Terror
Come on tax man I need to do another doopys order Wink
Right we start with the base components in the Doopy's kit as per this and the previous pictures

Once all cleaned up and flashing removed start to progress with the trigger and grip screwed into the main barrel. At this point check for fitment, screw it in, sand and scrape as required to get the perfect fit. once ok then glue and screw.

Then start on the scope/counter bracket. This can be picked up from Bunning's and Masters for the rail. Measure twice and cut once. Drill your pilot hole in the rear of the bracket and also match the hole on the rear of the barrel. Mount the rail and then locate the scope and counter, mark holes and drill. Again trial fit and once happy then glue and screw.

I did my paint work in 2 sections, once your main barrel and grip is complete I primed, silver coat and 2 satin black coats. Trial fit the scope assembly and paint that separately.

Then for final coats of black and also the clear coats. Add the reticule kit as supplied from Oevil1 to the scope with supaglue and the weapon is complete. Personal choice to weather as needed.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!
Hey Terror, nice build.
I have a question, as I will be starting the same kit build in a week or so.

The reflective bits in the scope and the targeting decal, did you make those, or can they be bought from someone? (they look fantastic) I like very much.

Thanks
You da man Terror! Smile
Great job mate. They look excellent.
I guess the drinks, strategically placed in the background, are essential to achieve this level of quality. Wink
Sly11,

The man you are after is Oevil1 who makes these great kits for the scope. He is local and if you ask kindly he may have a few sets still.

What glue do you recommend for assembly of these Doopy resin kits, and are they wood screws you are using?

Thanks
