Mission:
To bring a touch of Imperial awesomeness to the wedding of Carwyn and Joan!!!

Trooper Attendance:
TK 4132 TheWolf
TK 4159 Beanie
TK 4751 BIDS
TK 8995 Muppet

Support Crew:
Wrangler 3326 Doc

Details:
Imperial transports made there way to the Brisbane Golf Club where we were met by the groom Carwyn. After a quick recon mission and briefing, the troopers made there way to armour up to a furrowed brow of 1 or 2 club members . . .

With Beanie managing to get his helmet on the right way after a spell in the naughty corner, the bride arrived to the staging area where she couldn't contain her delight and joyously gave all the troopers a huge hug!!!

Some commotion was caused in the crowd when the 'Imperial March' began to play and 4 of the Empire's finest marched out in perfect formation to The Jacaranda Gardens and took up honour guard positions.

On the arrival of the wedding party, each accompanied by one of the couples terriers, the bride made her entrance - and to make sure she didn't have 2nd thoughts, the troops fell in behind so there was no escape back up the isle Hehehe

The ceremony was perfect, some gasps were shared as it was revealed that the couple were born 150kms away from each other in Wales but it took the best place in the world for them to be brought together. With an honourable mention of the Imperial presence and a obligatory 'MTFBWY' the happy couple said 'I do'.

On escorting the party to the covered drive area, many a photo was taken. The Star Wars theme ran deep with the groomsmen all wearing SW themed cufflinks Doppeldaumen1 Some of the younger guests were a little overawed but were finally won over by the troopers.

On 1 final photo with all those in attendance, the troopers retired to the members locker area and de-kitted. As departing, the wedding party were seen heading off in golf carts to the unknown regions Lol

Charity Funds Raised:
As Carwyn and Joan are huge dog lovers, an extremely generous donation of $1,000.00 has already been donated by the couple to Smart Pups!!!!

Injuries / Malfunctions:
Nil - perfect Imperial execution, although BIDS did leave his firepower in the Imperial shuttle. Luckily a good trooper has a spare blaster - good on you WolfDoppeldaumen1

Public Incidents:
Nil - but a few polite inquires made by some of the golf club members in the change room . . .

Mission Status:
To quote the happy couple - ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!

This was an awesome Troop. I've been wanting to attend a wedding since I started my TK as I think it's an amazing thing to be able to be part of someones special day. Carwyn was a gracious host and I was very surprised by such a warm hug from the beautiful bride Joan before her walk down the isle, they both managed to include us graciously in their day. Very cool to have the mention written into the celebrants message too.

Thankfully the overcast outlook from the morning cleared up and it turned out be be a beautiful clear day, not too hot (I actually think the groomsmen were hotter in their suits than we were in armor. Very cute to have the puppies as assistant groomsmen too.

Very embarrassed to leave my E11 in the boot of the car, thanks very much for having my back with a spare Dave.

Great job on the wrangling Doc, top job & some cool pictures. Thanks very much Gent's for a great experience.

great report and very grateful to be included in someones special day as well. shame there's not more members or more weddings to attend. and count yourself lucky to see me in my TK... yes i own one, but only Weddings have the honour of seeing it.
I'm waiting to hear back from them and if all ok, will publish some of the pics on the FB public page.
Sounds like a really great experience for everyone, love the photos! Very professional troopers and I still can't believe how generous the newlyweds were! Well done gents!!!
If they don't mind do you think you could get a copy of the group photo taken when we went back to the courtyard? This should be a pretty awesome shot.
Glad this turned out well, sorry my work travel plans got in the way of me POCing and attending but very happy that it all went well Smile
Very relaxed and fun wedding, and generous wedding party, with good company.
Great job everyone! And to see $1000 raised for Smartpups is amazing to see!
