[size=large][b]Details: A fun community street party celebrating the start of renovations to Calyns family home. Tradesmen and businesses are donating their time to work on extensive renovations and extensions to make the home wheel chair accessable. There was a jumping castle, hot rods, radio station Nova, Rising Star Dance School present. Superman added his superhero pizzaz to the day.
Qld Reds were there signing merchandise and overseeing a football passing challenge game. Troopers The Wolf, Rubber and Jackson all managed to score goals while Rayvn struggled getting a ball through a hole. We got some great photos with the Reds and they were fascinated with the work the Garrison does. We gave them some business cards Smile
Mike Wllesy was in attendance to provide coverage of the day for his Sunday Night show.
So, the time came round to start renovation. Our troopers, Superman, tradesmen and a crowd of friends, family and neighbours all put on our safety vests and hard hats. We grabbed various smashing tools and marched into the small family home. Jackson was very keen to help knock down walls. The Sandtrooper tried blasting the wall down but kept missing. The Stormtrooper then took a pick to the wall and hit a small hole. The Nightsister thought hmmmm I can do that, took the pick and smashed the wrong wall ( don't let the truth stand in the way of a good story)
The house was gutted and extensions marked out in pink. b]

Awesome work guys!
i heard on Nova that they were there and was waiting for them to say something like "the 501st legion" or "stormtroopers are here" but nope... nothing, but hey, great work!
A really worthwhile Troop for little Calyn and his family. It was wonderful to see how fascinated Calyn was with the Troopers Armour and Nightsister's Lightsabre. Troopers were awesome to keep entertaining crowds in the 33 degree plus heat on the day. Calyn's family continually expressed their gratitude for the 501st support. Thanks for having us along Rayvn.
Well done troopers....
The Queensland Reds were brilliant and they gave us signed stuff.
Amazes me how a Stormtrooper can always stay so clean and yet I get dirty where ever I go!!! Smile
Thanks ALRAKIS for more great photos. Calyn was fascinated with a young Boba Fett.
Excellent work troopers.
Great job guys.
