Redback Garrison

Mission: Participate in the Million Paws Walk which raises money for the RSPCA, and make the event more fun for everyone with our presence.

RL: Cat’Thrawn Jedi with Khan-i-Wan-Kenobi the Ewok dog.

Details: The troops met at 08:30 to suit up. We were met with many excited adults keen for photos. Very few kids were at this event, but LOTS of fur-babies. Acting as a wrangler whilst juggling the Ewok dog, our Jedi used the Force to identify safe paths along the poop covered pathway. The troopers kept their aim true to make their way through the pungent minefield successfully.

Charity Funds Raised: $136,378 in Queensland - http://www.millionpawswalk.com.au/Queensland.htm. As participants we contributed $10 each to do the walk.

Was a fun troop, met a couple of potential recruits.

Have one story to tell though (well maybe not a story, but cool nonetheless), some lady that came up to us asking for a photo for her son ANAKIN! That's right, we actually met a kid named Anakin... Still can't believe it lol

Maybe he'll grow up and be a sith lord or something like that.

Apart from that, here's a photo of the whole team that I borrowed from the redbacks facebook. This guy was really cool and even had some star wars tats.
