Venue: Sunshine Coast Marathon
Time: 0800-1200
Mission: To add some Star Wars magic to the Sunshine Coast Marathon, and help entertain the masses as well as working on those leg muscles

Details:
Arriving at the pristine coast line of Alex Heads on the Sunshine Coast myself and Reb worked are way from the back neighborhoods after a quick carpark change towards the Alex surf club and park where the Marathon was taking place. Stopping to take photos and great a good morning to all that we passed. Once crossing the road and dodging runners in the marathon we ran into Solo and proceeded to the park where more photos and greetings were meet with the local kids and big kids at heart.
Many smiles were had all around and with the help from Reb some Tattoo's and cards were handed out to the local children and Some bigger kids such as the local MP for Sports Steve Dickson.

Reb and myself then moved off after Saying fare well to Nick and proceed to the start line for are 5km run where we had more photos with fellow runners and once the whistle blew we were all on are way. We marched at a brisk pace following the beautiful coast line walking with many groups of runners and chatting with the locals on the sidelines cheering everyone on.
After the short run we passed the finishing line and meet up with a few more locals for photos before both agreeing on the need for a Bacta tank to rest a tired feet.
Injuries / Malfunctions: I burned two very big holes through my socks from the walk And Reb suffered some rather large blisters. Both needed a well earned hot bath.
Public Incidents: NIL. Though a small child cried when her parents tried to carry her over for a photo and didn't notice myself till we were face to face.
Mission Status: Great success, Another year down making it 3 in a row that I have taken part in, in armour.
