Good afternoon 501st
Just thought I'd drop a line as I'm interested in becoming an active member here
I have a huge interest in the old republic characters
I am currently living in Bundaberg and at the moment a member of another Star Wars group here called 'Queensland Australia Star Wars Appreciation Society' or QASWAS for short
I am wanting to get into the 501st and am either going to go with Darth Revan or Darth Nihilus. I've got an outfit for each but i think my Nihilus is almost ready for approval
What's the process for applying for approval??

Hi there and welcome. We have quite a few members in Bundy now, I am sure that you probably will know them.
To get your costume approved it must meet the minimum requirements of the Costume Reference Library or CRL.
For Nihilus there are a couple, so just make sure that you are going to apply for the correct one:

Sign up to the detachment to get your research material and to get any help you may need:

Once you are satisfied that you think the costume meets the minimum requirements submit your costume:

With Nihilus and other multi-layered costumes we do like to see the individual layers photographed on you as you are getting into the costume.
