Caboolture Shire Leukaemia Foundation - Duras - Saturday 20-Oct-2012 Date: 20/10/2012 Venue: Morayfield Community Hall Time: 6-10pm Mission: Supply event security to the Caboolture Shire Leukemia Foundation Annual Dinner Trooper Attendance: Anakinra, Beanie, DarkVoyd, Duras, Mortogg, Oigen, Phantom, Phoenix, Stormraven Guest Trooper Attendance: Nil Support Crew: Nil Detail: Arriving around 5.30 the Emperor's glorious forces were able to prepare for the arrival of guests. Troopers and officers met the guests, and after a short and unobtrusive security pat down were escorted to the great honour of being personally greeted to the event by the Emperor himself. With only the mildest of interrogation regarding certain battle station plans that had been "misfiled" (as the official record states). After all guests had arrived and photo ops taken it was time to relax and enjoy the meal with the soft subtle music of a 70's tribute band... brave men they were in their strange and crazy outfits. Things you wouldn't catch a sensible Imperial officer wearing e.g. silver platform high heel boots. Attempts at bribery aimed at the Imperial Officer with a extra dessert were quickly consumed and then i was Voluntold to write this Once the meal had been partaken the Emperor decreed break time over and it was back to full uniform to finish the night with some more photo ops My wife grabbed some raffle tickets and won on of the mystery prize... a meal for two and a location of her choice. This turned out to be a large 6 portion size tin of SPC baked beans with couple of plates and cutlery Charity Funds Raised: Nil Injuries: Nil - Surprising from the power thrusts of Mortogg while doing air guitar to the 70's tribute band with his DC15L Malfunctions: Nil Public Incidents: Nil Mission Status: Photos: Hoth preparation training Showing the many talents of the Imperial Forces (with bounty hunter assistance) Thankfully for Anakira the meal was quick at arriving and so cannibalism was avoided There should be some more to come from the event's official photographer - DarkVoyd to follow up RE: Caboolture Shire Leukaemia Foundation - Anakinra - Saturday 20-Oct-2012 Quickest troop report ever?! Great report Duras and thanks all for a really fun troop tonight RE: Caboolture Shire Leukaemia Foundation - Darkvoyd - Saturday 20-Oct-2012 Great first report Duras, It was awesome to troop with you also. Really great work team for your efforts tonight. The Organisers didn't stop talking about us and thanking us for coming along. I think we will be hearing a lot more from LF on the north side a little more in the future. Every one did really well considering the heat tonight and I thank all those that traveled a long way to attend this one. My fav part of the night would by far be the rocking out on the dance floor with a few of my bothers in arms (air blaster guitars in hand) and being joined my the bands lead guitarist to rock on. Amazing!!! Heaps of awesome professional pic's got taken and I'll source those and post them up as soon as I get them. Once again thanks all, it was a very fun and worthwhile night!
