After much waiting by all troopers the day was finally here for a premiere of the film we have all been waiting for. Troopers assembled a few hours before the premiere to support OzHarvest who had auctioned off seats in gold class to raise money to provide meals for the needy.
Fans young and old had flocked to see the movie so were thrilled to be greeted by the might of the empire.
A few of our wacky biker scouts even showed their extreme skills on the horse racing machines. Good thing there were no trees around.
After a fair bit of mingling and photos it was time for troopers to get changed and join the crowds to watch the film.
The movie was okay i guess. There may be a need to see it a few more times.
Charity Funds Raised:
Funds raised by auctioning seats provided over 4000 meals for the needy.
