Weathering of the muzzle and the stock complete. I replicated the dry-brushing technique using a soft rag and black paint in order to ‘dirty up’ the brown grip and stock and stock, and the silver muzzle.
The Aluminium rod I had been using as a temporary insert to maintain the straightness of the barrel I now replaced with a chrome rod. I found some aluminium tubing which would fit inside the chrome rod and riveted it inside the rod to provide additional strength.
Rod inserted and glued; muzzle attached, bolt attached as well as the conical disc on the grip.
Letting all the gluing dry for 24 hours and then I will be able to finally assemble it for the first time!
