Welcome to the forum Darth Zombie! Am i correct in assuming that you've been following the Legion CRL and have signed up to the Sith Lord Detachment forum? If not, then both places are a good place to check your costume and make sure it will meet the Legions standards and if so, then great! 
We have some great Mauls in the garrison who will no doubt be along soon to give you the advice you ask for and there are other members who use face paints and makeup with their costumes who would be happy to give you advice about which products are good value
