Troop Report
Date: Friday May 2nd

Venue: Central Station & Post Office Square, Brisbane city

Time: 0730 – 0900 (waaay to early!)

Mission: To be awesome and help raise money for the Starlight Foundation with the Qld Rail and Starlight volunteers

Trooper Attendance:

Boba Fett – Phantom
Greedo – Scotsman
Tie Pilot – Stormraven
Snowtrooper - Rebelrach

Support Crew / Guest Trooper Attendance:
The Wolf
Declan - Phantom’s son

Details:
Braving the morning downpours (because that’s what troopers do) Stormraven, Rebelrach met Phanton at the Imperial rendezvous point in the Valley. The skies cleared well enough for a quick carpark change followed by a brisk walk past some awed Imperial citizens to the station. Wrangler Declan was doing a super job until he took the troopers up 4 flights of stairs!

There were some surprised commuters and a few pics taken but generally the Imperials transferred to Central Station without incident (Rebelrach impressing herself by not going over up the escalators).

Meeting Scottsman and The Wolf at the merch table of the Starlight Foundation we were greeted warmly at Central Station. We posed for photos for a while, wowing the damp commuters and accepting donation before the 2 bounty hunters headed down to Post Office Square, and the troopers remaining at Central.

Some great donations, comments and pics were taken til 9am. The Bounty Hunters sauntered back up as cool as only Bounty Hunters can, we were thanked by the Starlight and Qld Rail volunteers and the Imperial gathering was dispersed. The Wolf back to work, and the troopers on the train. A few surprised Qld rail workers and citizens snapped pics on the slower trek back to our Imperial transports. The skies opened just as we reached undercover to de-armour.

Another troop done and dusted by 9.30am…not as successful as the year before, due to the rain and less troopers, but a success nonetheless

Charity Funds Raised: TBC

Injuries / Malfunctions: A bit of damp armour and some minor helmet issues for Rebelrach

Public Incidents: None if you don’t count awe and respect!

Mission Status: Not as great as last year, but still a great success

There were a few people who were so awestruck by our appearance they forgot to look where they were walking , and combined with the wet weather we did have a few people slip over ( or almost ) as we were walking around.
Duty * Honor * Empire

What do you call a stormtrooper who can hit a target?
