Details:
The RBG were invited to join in on this SCG troop considering it was only an hour over the border.

We arrived early, expecting a cold day in sea breeze to find a beautiful location with 24 degrees, blaring sun and zero breeze! And that didn't change all day.

We armoured up and spent the next 2 hours cheering and encouraging people onto the last checkpoint with 8km to go on the 35km walk.

Many hugs were give, many high fives and many photos taken.

Eventually we retreated to the shade and de-armoured, the heat was just too much to take, but the organisers were very happy and the majority of walkers/runners were very happy to see us on the course.

This was a great troop in a beautiful location, more people should think about venturing down south next time Smile I wanted to say a special thanks to Chookie for supplying us with water, home made chocolate cake, muffins and lollies (apparently, but last seen in the hands of the kids ...)

Thanks to my Redback brothers and sister for making the first 501st Legion troop on the Northern Rivers a very enjoyable one, even in the heat and little breeze.

Looks awesome, and the weather looked beautifully as well.
I can imagine Vader was feeling the heat, in his shinny black glory.

Sorry, need to have some spelling lessons I think, ( beautiful )

Was my pleasure. It was educational in seeing what goes into putting a set of armour on plus I got to help the Dark Lord as well
