Perth noob, after local help. (Armour parties?)

Hi!

I bought a clone kit two years back from what I can remember being a fairly reputable guy in the US. I've let it sit in the box it came in for far too long after being too nervous to make that first step of building it on my own.
I'm now ready to commit to potentially f**king it up. Though I'd like someone to hold my hand/laugh at my mistakes as I do so.

So long story short, is there a Perth armour party or a local who would be willing to help me out/guide me? Will supply beer.
