E-11D conversion

I have acquired one if the Nerf Death Trooper blasters & am hoping to convert it to a screen looking E-11D. Could anyone point me in the direction where I can find the dimensions of the blaster or a tutorial if someone has already converted the Nerf? I will take lots of photos for the build thread
