Hi everyone,
I happened to purchase a Hasbro E-11 a few months back and also a Doopydoos resin conversion kit. I've only just gotten around to putting the 2 together. Here's the build thread.
The blaster before i started cutting. I've sanded the raised writing down with a dremel.
The blaster and the resin pieces from Doopydoos in their approximate location in relation to the blaster
After cutting the old tip off with a dremel. Be very careful removing the old tip because there is an LED and wires just inside.
And after removing the front of the scope
I've glued the pieces together and onto the blaster using Zap-a-gap. Use this sparingly or you'll get runs
That's as far as I've gotten today. I'm planning on spray painting the new emitter tip before installation so i can get full coverage without worrying about painting the LED. I'm also going to paint the main body of the blaster before gluing on the stock so i can get the spray paint into all the crevices. That's it for now, more to come!
