Hello all & thanks for having me.

I see the last time I logged in was like 30th Oct 2010, had some logging issues & yea, only just got it sorted *sighs*

A little about myself, been living in Australia now just over 3yrs most of it on the Goldcoast, Robina & yea I'm a kiwi Doppeldaumen1

Work for a company based in Toowoomba so I work away generally 15 days then have 15 off Smile

Been a SW fan since forever & would like to make up one of the ranks for laser fodder having served in the NZ Army as cannon fodder for 15yrs Wink

Looking at joining the Goldcoast Pistol club later this week & also maybe the Brisy rifle club so as you may gather I still enjoy playing with things that make a loud noise.
Back in NZ I was with a re-enactment group that portrayed the American 101st Airborne Div & am looking at continuing that here with the QLD Army Group South although there American AB unit is the 82nd AB.

Will keep an eye out for any AP's especially if not at work & recommendations from anyone ref armour otherwise I had been looking at this website if anyone knows it.

Looks as though I'll need to buy a car as I ride a Triumph Daytona 2008 & a trooper on one of them going to an event just seem's so wrong, lol.
Once again hi to you all & hope to catch up for a meet & greet once I have my gear... Jaggs

Welcome back Jagg Smile

SDS props isnt bad, but very expensive just to have armor made by the original designer.

Drop Muppet a PM, he'll be able to point you in the right direction Smile

Hey there Jaggered!
SDS - very good, but painfully expensive.

There are other makers out there that will be accurate - but a bit easier to budget for!

We've got a few troopers up in TBar - did you see any of us at the Peak2Park on the weekend?

Hey Chaos, BMW huh? No way, lol.
35 yrs? Must be a classic Doppeldaumen1

Work for Easternwell Group on one of the drilling rigs as a Derrickman/Mud Tester, I rent a storage place over by the hockey club & leave my bike there when I fly out to work & just taxi to the airport. If I'm not feeling lazy I'll drive over the day before & always stay at the Raceview so I get a good nights sleep prior to work. Managers wife likes to think of me as a son, lol. Otherwise I'll leave the GC like 4am to drive over depending on my flight time.
Will look for a cheap run around car but not to fussed about that just yet, rather get my armour first Wink
Read the report earlier with the troopers that attended the ball there as escorts. Good PR that mission Smile
Thanks for the welcome

Hi Moxxxie, I sent muppet a PM yesterday so he's provided some info for me. Although I forgot to ask about where to find a decent E-11, holster & boots & will get in contact with Wolf I believe to place a order for a fan lol
Guessing ppl will know about this site but have followed this guy for a number of yrs
http://www.tk409.com/tk409.html
Rather a switched on cat to be able to make his own stuff but yea don't have the time or patience for that.
Thank's for the welcome & Willza as well... hmm just wondering what is the TBar? Muppet mentioned this to me as well.
Some sort of drinking establishment on the GC?

Tbar= Toowoomba
For a good trooping E-11, you can buy the Hasbro toy blaster and buy a Doopy Doo mod kit, and fit it to it. There is also a local member Crypto that does make them every now and then, but you have to be quick.
Boots, you can go for www.tkboots.com or www.caboots.com or you can even make your own.

Welcome mate, Barking Dragon on the TAG forums also has some E-11 Blaster Parts if you want to have a crack at making your own.
He also makes full kits from time to time as well.
