Ok, so not 'strictly' a Imperial weapon, but some Imperials do use a 'stolen' rebel blaster.
Just a quick thread to show how to build one as compared to the Hasbro rebel blaster. Please note that this is a ROTJ copy, not a ANH copy, a lot of differences. This is for my Endor Commando, which is in ROTJ.
The ROTJ DH-17
The habro top, mine below.
The basic mark out, holes for cooling.
General mockup right side, using DD E-11 kit.
Left side with scope, barrel tip and buttons.
Progress as from 4th March. Will be cutting space for the scope mounts today. Pistol grip and mag housing are screwed in, not glued for strenght.
Basically this is just a highly modified E-11, using a lot of the same parts, with the exception of the scope, aiming tube and other items. If you can build a scratch build E-11, then you can build one of these. I'll be updating this tread as it moves along.
