Makes you wonder why the technology used by the Empire seemed to go backwards over the twenty years or so between Episodes 3 and 4 (Blasters less effective, aiming systems on starships still inaccurate as hell...) The Empire seemed to leave everyday life well enough alone for the non-violent populace, so does Moore's Law just not exist here?
