Heavy is not a problem. Doing a good job is the problem.

Looks like a lot of work but I'm sure it will also look great when it's finished.

(decided to put this in the thread rather than cram it in a PM)
umm i didn't take a lot of photos when i was building it, but it didn't take too long to build either so here's what i can tell you from memory

i used my power drill and my dremel for this build
first trim all that flashing, i used the little sanding wheel on my rotary tool

This is a pic of my bipod, i cut out the middle section of this where there should be a gap using a drill or whatever tool you can purpose to do so
[Image: 7656175346_d3ed381ce0_b.jpg]

this is the barrel, i drilled out all the holes in it and glued on the fins and got some wire for it too. also drill out the part where you can see a bolt, as you can put in an actual bolt to hold the barrel section to the stock.
you might want to wear a mask for all the white crap that comes out.

this is the hardest part really, you'll want to find a drill bore that is the same size as the pipe that goes through the barrel. i found a blue one at bunnings that works great, i drilled out enough space in the stock to fit the barrel in, and drilled out a bit of the end cap so the pipe will fit in it.

here's some more close ups of my gun too.

there's the bolt, just got one from bunnings that was the right size.

this is where that little disc goes, and the ejection port cover.

and that's where the bolt goes in on the stock, you'll have to drill it out a little to fit it in there. and if you don't glue it in there it will move like the actual bolt is supposed to. which is cool.

i painted it silver first, then black (so if it scratches off you'll see silver underneath), then drybrushed it with silver and painted some of the little greeblies and screws and what not.

if you want a pic of the drill bits i had, i'll go take one...
hope this helps!
